The Senior Citizens Club founded by Deacon Jerremy Moorland, Sister Anselm and Sister Benignus in October 1990 with 30 members.

We meet each Tuesday afternoon in the Parish Centre, commence at 2pm. with Eight games of bingo, and raffle then we have a short break for tea and biscuits and a chat, which concludes at 3.45pm.

From Easter until September we organise days out to the seaside or other places of interest, these outings are subsidised by the club. Occasionally we have bring and buy sales, also special teas, free lunches and a Christmas lunch.

A voluntary collection is taken for any surplus pennies at each meeting and the proceeds donated to the Duchess of Kent Hospice.

The Club is open to anyone from the age 60th and anyone who wishes to join will be made most welcome, just come on Tuesday afternoon and see Joan Murphy, Danny Apap or Rosemary Magee.

In 2009 we had other outings and enjoyed by all that came!
